Alberton Property

The Alberton property market has stabilised and sales are picking up slowly but surely. There were little new developments for a while but a few are starting up again and marketing thereof will start soon. Alberton properties range in price from ±R500 000, in certain suburbs, to as high as ±R5m in Meyersdal. The average price of properties in Brackenhurst and Brackendowns are ±R850 000.

Repossessed and auctioned properties are currently fairly expensive and it is therefore better to buy from estate agencies, as everything is included in the price. Auctioned property has hidden costs and the property is bought “voetstoots”, which makes planning and doing your homework essential.
